Джордж Гершвин (also known as George Gershwin ) was an American composer and pianist born in 1898 in Brooklyn, USA. He is considered one of the most influential composers of traditional jazz and symphonic music. His career is marked by the creation of such masterpieces as "Rhapsody in Blue" "An American in Paris" and the opera "Porgy and Bess" which includes the famous aria "Summertime" Gershwin's works were performed on major stages around the world, and his music had a significant influence on the development of jazz and classical music.
