Benny Goodman
Benny Goodman, born Benjamin David Goodman in 1909 in the United States, was an American jazz clarinetist and bandleader famously known as the "King of Swing." His career peaked during the 1930s and 1940s, when he led one of the most popular big bands of the swing era. Notable hits include "Sing, Sing, Sing" and "Let's Dance". Goodman was also a trailblazer in integrating racially diverse musicians into his band, breaking barriers in the music industry. His contributions to jazz and swing music remain influential, cementing his legacy as a pivotal figure in 20th-century music history.
