Чарли Паркер (real name Чарльз Кристофер Паркер младший ) is an American jazz saxophonist and composer, born in 1920 in the United States. One of the founders of the bebop style, he had a profound influence on the development of jazz. Паркер earned the nickname Bird and became known for his virtuoso improvisations and complex melodic lines.
