Max Roach (full name Maxwell Roach , also known as Максвелл Лемуэль Роуч ) is an American jazz drummer and composer, born in 1924 in the United States. One of the pioneers of the bebop style, he had a huge influence on the development of jazz music. Max Roach collaborated with legends such as Charlie Parker , Dizzy Gillespie , and Miles Davis . Among his famous works are the albums "We Insist! Freedom Now Suite" and "Deeds, Not Words" His contributions to jazz music made him one of the most respected drummers of the 20th century.
