Надежда Кадышева is a Soviet and Russian folk singer, born on June 1, 1959. She is the lead singer of the «Золотое кольцо» ensemble, which has become one of the most renowned groups in the Russian pop genre. During her career Надежда Кадышева was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia, recognizing her contribution to the development of Russian musical culture. Among her most famous songs are "Shiroka Reka" (Wide River) and "Techet Ruchey (Flowing Stream)."
