He is known for his eccentric vocal style and unique approach to fashion. He first gained attention through collaborations with artists such as Rich Homie Quan , Birdman , and Gucci Mane . In 2011, he released a series of indie mixtapes, including "I Came from Nothing" In 2013, he signed with 1017 Records and released the mixtape "1017 Thug" which received positive reviews from critics.
