Meek Mill , born Robert Rimic Williams, is an American hip hop artist from Philadelphia, born in 1987. He began his career as a battle rapper and founded the hip hop collective The Bloodhoundz . In 2008, Meek Mill signed with Grand Hustle Records , owned by rapper TI , but later moved to Maybach Music Group , founded by Rick Ross . His best-known tracks include "Dreams and Nightmares" and "Going Bad" Meek Mill has made significant contributions to modern hip hop, combining autobiographical lyrics with a powerful delivery.
