Lil Reese (real name Tavares Lamont Taylor ) is an American rapper and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois, born in 1993. He began his career in the early 2010s and rose to prominence through his collaborations with artists such as Chief Keef , Fredo Santana , and Lil Durk . In 2012, Lil Reese featured on Chief Keef single " I Don't Like ", which peaked at number 73 on Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 20 on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts. That same year, he released his debut mixtape, Don't Like . Lil Reese has made significant contributions to the development of Chicago hip hop and the drill music genre.
