Swae Lee, born Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown on June 7, 1993, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from the United States. He is best known as one half of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi. In 2017, he gained widespread recognition for his feature on French Montana's single "Unforgettable", which peaked in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100. His debut solo album, "Swaecation", was released on May 4, 2018, as part of a triple album project. He later achieved his first solo number-one hit with "Sunflower", a collaboration with Post Malone for the "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" soundtrack. Swae Lee continues to influence pop, soul, and hip-hop music globally.
