Stormzy is a British hip hop and grime artist born on 26 July 1993. His debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer became the first grime act to reach number one UK Albums Chart , selling 69,000 copies. The album received positive reviews from critics, and seven tracks from it, including "Big for Your Boots" and "Shut Up" entered the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Stormzy has twice won the MOBO Awards Award for Best Grime Act and was included in Sound of 2015 list of influential artists. His work has had a significant influence on the development of grime and British hip hop.
