
Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in 1996 in California. Known for their fusion of nu-metal, rap-metal, and alternative rock, the group initially performed under the name Xero. The lineup includes rhythm guitarist and vocalist Mike Shinoda, guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn, and drummer Rob Bourdon. Former vocalists Mark Wakefield and Chester Bennington also played pivotal roles in the band's history. Their debut album, "Hybrid Theory", achieved massive success, featuring hits like "In the End" and "Crawling". Linkin Park redefined nu-metal, blending genres and influencing a generation of musicians.
