Sagopa Kajmer is a Turkish rapper, producer, and DJ born on August 17, 1978, in Samsun, Turkey. After completing his education in Samsun, he began working as a DJ at a local radio station. Later, he moved to Istanbul to study Persian Language and Literature at Istanbul University. In 1999, he formed the rap group Kuvvetmira under the alias Silahsız Kuvvet, contributing to the compilation album Yeraltı Operasyonu. Adopting the stage name Sagopa Kajmer, he released albums like On Kurşun and Bir Pesimistin Gözyaşları. He also contributed to the soundtrack of the Turkish film G.O.R.A., solidifying his influence in Turkish hip-hop.
