Kurt Weill (1900–1950) was a German-born composer. He is best known for his collaboration with playwright Бертольтом Брехтом , which resulted in such iconic works as "Трехгрошовая опера" and the song "Mack the Knife" Weill work spanned the genres of world classics and soundtracks, and his work had a significant influence on musical theater.
