Tak dalej już nie może być!

Czymże ja biedna zawiniłam

Że mi się nie chce żyć

W tym kraju, o który walczyłam.

Naprawdę mam wszystkiego dość.

Walka o bułkę na śniadanie

I wszystkożerna złość -

A przecież przeżyłam Powstanie!

Potem siedziałam na UB,

Modliłam się, by szlag ich trafił

A teraz nawet nie

Mam sił, żeby dojść do parafii…

Nie spełnia nam się tutaj nic

Wtedy, gdy się powinno spełnić!

Czy warto po to tylko żyć,

Żeby się o tym upewnić

It can't go on like this anymore!

What is my fault, poor?

That I don't want to live

In this country that I was fighting for.

I'm really sick of everything.

Fight for a bun for breakfast

And omnivorous anger -

And yet I survived the Uprising!

Then I was sitting on the UB,
