Oft weiß ich ganz genau: Ich … war … einmal;

Ich habe schon einmal all dies gesehn;

Der Baum vor meinem Fenster rauschte mir

Ganz so wie jetzt vor tausend Jahren schon;

All dieser Schmerz, all diese Lust ist nur

Ein Nochmals, Immerwieder, Spiegelung

Durch Raum und Zeit.

Ein Fließen, Sinken, Untertauchen und

Ein neu Empor im gleichen Strome: Ich

Through space and time.
