Du kanske sa nånting som ingen alls förstod

Livet är en dans på rosor

Du ville se alternativ i allt som inte var nåt bra

Och att det gick att göra om

Du ville bara hjälpa till och vara snäll

Mot som som praktiskt taget ingenting förstår

Du ville bara göra gott och ändå fick du namnet Fröken svår

Och du fick höra utav vänner och bekanta

Att «Nu tar vi allt, för allting här är vårt»!

Dom sa att framtiden var ljus

Nu har dom bil och mat och hus

Dom sa att ingenting var svårt

Och du fick höra att livet var en dans på rosor

Och det blev en dans som stack dig hårt

You may have said something that no one understood at all

And as you regretted but as you still said

Maybe you went a step too far for them to fall asleep

So they did not see that it was good

You wanted to change yourself and your world

But then involuntarily saw that it was tough

Life is a dance on roses

But it is a dance with difficult steps

You wanted to show that you existed and that you lived

And that not everything was as dead as they were

You wanted to see alternatives in everything that was not a good thing

And that it could be redone

You just wanted to help and be kind

Against which as practically nothing understands

You just wanted to do good and yet you got the name Miss difficult

And you heard from friends and acquaintances

That "Now we take everything, because everything here is ours"!

They said the future was bright

Now they have a car and food and a house

They said nothing was difficult

And you were told that life was a dance on roses

And it became a dance that stuck you hard
