I februari var det bottenfryst i mälaren

Götgatan var grå och kall av seklets värsta vinter

Det var tungt, att gå

Stockholm verkar full av långa svarta labyrinter

Jag var virrig och trött, jag var sliten och nött

Och jag hade inga veckor, inga dar

Bara en röra av en massa tid

Jag ville hitta en bra paroll

Nånting och tro på nåt som tog mig upp en bit över noll

Jag var beredd o dra till Åbo men hon rädda mig precis

Mörkret är så tungt och alla männskor är som is
