RZA , born Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, is an American rapper, actor, film director, and music producer born in 1969. He is the de facto leader of the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan , producing most of the albums for both the group and its members. Under the pseudonym Bobby Digital he has released several solo albums and was also a member of the horrorcore group Gravediggaz , where he performed under the name TheRZArector . In addition to music, RZA is actively involved in film, creating soundtracks and directing. His contributions to the development of hip-hop and soundtracks have made him a key figure in the genre.
