Nazareth is a Scottish rock band formed in 1968 in Dunfermline. Formed by members of The Shadettes , the original lineup included vocalist Дэн Маккаферти , guitarist Мэнни Чарлтон , bassist Пит Эгнью , and drummer Дэрел Свит . The band gained worldwide fame thanks to the hit "Love Hurts" which became their signature song. Nazareth also released successful albums such as "Hair of the Dog" which cemented their status in the hard rock genre. Their contribution to the genre made them one of the key bands of their time.
