Ben Webster (also known as Бен Вебстер or Бен Уэбстер ) was an American jazz musician born in 1909 in the United States. He was an outstanding tenor saxophonist, renowned for his phenomenal subtonal sound and mastery of the swing style. Webster had a profound influence on all tenor saxophonists of subsequent generations. His career spanned collaborations with legends such as Duke Ellington , as well as solo recordings that have become jazz classics.
