Ayer y hoy se fue mi tren

Lleno de gente más puntual

Y otra vez no podré llegar

Lo escribo aquí, como señal:

No quiero exceso de bondad

Al hacer mi conteo atrás

No es verdad que me cansé:

Sólo un poco me perdí

Pero cuando vine a ver

Ya no estaba allí

Hoy, como ayer, llamé al hogar

Para decir una vez más

Que otra vez no podré llegar

Mañana lo haré mejor

Mañana madrugaré

Tengo clara la lección
