И проснуться рано-рано

И под волчий вой бурана

Свой порог перешагнуть.

И пойти в снегу по пояс

На вокзал, на первый поезд,

Часовой нарушить пояс

И друг другу нас вернуть.

Будет ночь, как гулкий зал,

Месяц в карнавальной маске,

Как в старинной страшной сказке,

Что мне ветер рассказал.

Но согласно расписанью

За окном мелькают зданья,

И финалом ожиданья

Приближается вокзал.

Я прийду, не позвонив,

И не ты мне дверь откроешь,

Но уже не успокоишь

Взволновавшийся мотив.

Ты войдешь обыкновенно,

Удивишься откровенно

И посмотришь, совершенно

Ничего не проронив.

А восход не потушить —

Горизонт уже распорот,

В эту ночь огромный город

Вьюга весь запорошит.

Как два облака по небу,

Будет нас носить по снегу,

А наутро я уеду,

И как прежде будем жить.
