Ich hab' Probleme.

Und das nicht zu knapp.

Ich sitze hier und gräme mich.

Man sieht’s mir an, ich hab'

den Blues.

Oh yes, I’m telling you the truth.

Und der Grund dafür heißt, wie in letzter Zeit so oft, Microsoft.

Ich schreibe nun bereits seit geraumer Zeit

an einer schwierigen, langwierigen Semesterarbeit.

Ich bin beinahe fertig.

Als ich ich sie gerade speichern will,

sagt plötzlich mein PC zu mir: «April, April!».

Und was ich dann zu ihm sag', sag' ich sonst nie,

und das ist nicht PC:

«Ey sachma Bill, Gates noch?

Wieso bist du eigentlich der reichste Mann der Welt?

Ich finde, du verdienst völlig zu Unrecht soviel Geld

mit deinen Betriebssystemen, die nicht richtig funktionieren

und sich permanent mit irgendwelchen Viren infizieren.

Bill, sieh es endlich ein: In

deinen Rechnern ist der Wurm drin.

Und dass sie ständig abstürzt, deine mangelhafte Software,

könnt' ich ja noch ertragen, wenn es nicht so oft wär'.

Neulich mal im Traum da packte mich das nackte Grauen.

Ich hab' geträumt, Microsoft würde Flugzeuge bauen.

Seitdem geh' ich ja gerne mal ins Kino,

in Quentin-Tarantino-Filme, z.B. Kill Bill.

Wir sind globalisiert und bis ins Letzte vernetzt,

doch bis jetzt hat sich irgendwie nur Scheiße durchgesetzt:

Nicht wahr, die Telekom, McDonald’s und natürlich der PC,

wobei Mac ohne Donald’s find' ich okay.

Ich hoffe ja, dass irgendwann der Wind sich wieder dreht

und die Leute nicht mehr Geiz geil finden, sondern Qualität.

Denn dann, Bill, ginge deine Firma sehr schnell hops,

doch keine Angst, für deine Leute hätte sicher Steve Jobs.

Dann bräuchtest du deine PCs nicht weiter sinnlos aufzupäppeln.

Nee, lass dich mal lieber stattdessen schön von Macintosh verapplen."

And plenty of it.

I sit here and grieve.

And the reason for this, as so often lately, is Microsoft.

I've been writing for quite some time now

on a difficult, lengthy term paper.

I'm almost done.

As I'm about to save them

my PC suddenly says to me: «April, April!».

And what I then say to him, I never say otherwise,

and this is not PC:

«Ey sachma Bill, Gates yet?

Why are you actually the richest man in the world?

I think you deserve so much money completely wrongly

with your operating systems not working properly

and become permanently infected with some kind of virus.

Bill, finally face it: In

the worm is in your computers.

And that it keeps crashing, your flawed software,

I could still endure it if it weren't so often.

The other day in a dream I was gripped by naked horror.

I dreamed Microsoft would build airplanes.

Since then I like to go to the cinema

in Quentin Tarantino films, e.g. Kill Bill.

We are globalized and networked down to the last detail,

but so far only shit has prevailed:

Isn't it, Telekom, McDonald's and of course the PC,

where Mac without Donald's I think is okay.

I hope that at some point the wind will turn again

and people no longer find cheapness cool, but quality.

Because then, Bill, your company would go up very quickly,

But don't worry, Steve Jobs would surely have for your people.

Then you no longer need to refresh your PCs pointlessly.

Nah, let the Macintosh mess you up instead."
