Juanes (real name Хуан Эстебан Аристисабаль Васкес ) is a Colombian singer and guitarist born on August 9, 1972. Until 1998, he was a member of the rock band Ekhymosis , after which he launched a successful solo career. Inspired by the success of Spanish-language artists such as Шакира and Энрике Иглесиас , Juanes released his debut album, which earned him three Latin Grammy Awards in 2000. His most famous hits include "A Dios le Pido" and "La Camisa Negra" Juanes has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Latin American music on the world stage.
