Георг Отс (1920–1975) was a Soviet and Estonian singer known for his performances in pop, opera, and operetta. Born in Estonia, he became a People's Artist of the USSR and the recipient of numerous awards, including two Сталинские премии , Государственную премию СССР , and Государственную премию Эстонской ССР . Георг Отс performed both classical opera roles and popular pop songs, winning the love of a wide audience. His repertoire included works in Russian and Estonian, as well as other European languages. Отс left a significant mark on musical culture, becoming a symbol of high performing skill.
