Хвоя с листьями сомкнулась в вышине,

И смола, как капли солнца на сосне.

Мягкий мох, как будто сказочный ковёр,

Синей ласкою полны глаза озёр.

Эта роща тёплым летом и весной

Часто кажется мне девушкой лесной.

Ветви, лес, в нём столько света и тепла,

Старый дуб, здесь чудо — девица жила,

И взволнованная шепчет мне листва,

Что века прошли, волшебница жива.

Эта девушка чудесной красоты,

Это ты, моя родная, это ты.

Здесь одною тобою дышит всё вокруг,

Блеск берёзовых ветвей, как трепет рук.

Ты не требовала верности моей,

Потому я всех нежней и всех верней.

The needles with leaves closed in the sky,

And resin, like drops of the sun on a pine tree.

Soft moss, like a fairy carpet,

The eyes of the lakes are full of blue caress.

This grove in warm summer and spring

Often it seems to me a forest girl.

Branches, forest, it has so much light and warmth,

Old oak, here is a miracle - a maiden lived,

And the excited foliage whispers to me,

That centuries have passed, the sorceress is alive.

This girl of wonderful beauty,

It's you, my dear, it's you.

Here everything around breathes with you,

Glitter of birch branches, like the trembling of hands.

You did not demand my fidelity,

Therefore, I am more tender and more faithful than all.
