Chuck Berry, born Charles Edward Anderson Berry in 1926 in the United States, was an American rock musician, singer, guitarist, and songwriter. Known as the "Father of Rock and Roll," he played a pivotal role in shaping the genre. His iconic songs, including "Maybellene", "Roll Over Beethoven", "Rock and Roll Music", and "Johnny B. Goode", became anthems of the rock era. In 1986, he was among the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him 5th among the 50 greatest artists of all time.
