Strand und Ufer des festen Landes

Die Heimat der nordischen Krieger

Wind füllt die Segel

Durch Sturm und Nebel

Mit Kraft und Ehre

Durchfahren wir der Welten Meere

Entfacht wird das helle Feuer

In den Langhaus großer Runde

Skalden erzählen die Geschichten der Fahrt

Und geheilt werden die Wunden der Schlacht

Kaum sind die Lieder verklungen

Der Kopf noch schwer vom Met

Da rufen der Männer Hörner

Zur nächsten großen Fahrt hinaus

Wind füllt die Segel
