Пачатак дваццаць першага стагоддзя

Зжаваў бяззубы незаўважны час,

Нічога не змянілася: у модзе

Пануюць core, metal, brit-pop і jazz.

Дыктуе лёс ранейшыя ўмовы –

Арлоў, Някляеў, Зюскінд ды Камю,

Штовечар новы пошук новых словаў,

Штовечар зноў старое deja vu.

Зноў кожны дзень нібыта дзень народзінаў,

І ў душы гучыць санет, але,

Як і раней, дыктуе стыль паводзінаў –

Свабодны верш.

Пачатак трэцяга тысячагоддзя,

Стары працяг – ізноў ідзе вайна.

Нічога не змяняецца ў модзе,

Нічога не змяняецца ў нас.

Краінаў розных і на розных мовах

Не разумею, але ведаю,

Штовечар новы пошук новых словаў,

Штовечар зноў старое deja vu.

Зноў кожны дзень нібыта дзень народзінаў,

І ў душы гучыць санет, але,

Як і раней, дыктуе стыль паводзінаў –

Свабодны верш.

The beginning of the twenty-first century

Toothless imperceptible time chewed,

Nothing has changed: in fashion

Core, metal, Brit-pop and jazz dominate.

Fate dictates previous conditions -

Orlov, Nyaklyaev, Syuskind and Camus,

Every night a new search for new words,

Every night again the same old deja vu.

Every day is like a birthday again,

And a sonnet sounds in the soul, but

As before, dictates the style of behavior -

Free verse.

The beginning of the third millennium,

The old continuation - the war is going on again.

Nothing changes in fashion

Nothing changes in us.

Different countries and in different languages

I don't understand but I know

Every night a new search for new words,

Every night again the same old deja vu.

Every day is like a birthday again,

And a sonnet sounds in the soul, but

As before, dictates the style of behavior -
