Kalde vindar stryk innover land

Men det gjer 'kje, det gjer 'kje det grann

Og regntunge dropar til naser finn fram

For linerla trippar så kjeik og så blid

Med sine tusen songar om sommar så stryk ho forbi

Tirili rili rili tirili rili rili

Og ørna den ligg der på vinden med høgaste nuten som stål og som jarn

Men under i berget, der er ho så mjuk

For der passar ho sine små barn

Ho ligg der og og ser ut på havet og tenker:

Mot kjærleik er stormar og frådande sjø ingenting Tirili…

Det blir jonsokdans her til morgongry
