I look to the North in the end of light

Late November scrutinized

Island in the dusk, a hidden life

Watching ways where years go by

Getting old and blurry

What is person?

What’s plant and what’s sky?

Standing in the surf, the wind blows

The water rolling, the wind blows

And the sound of the air rushing out

Of a vast throat roars uncertainty

To the sky

Seeing in the dark remembered mind

In the void, a thing grows and collapses white

Form after form, born at night

The world of water heaves inside us
