دلم تا عشقباز آمد در او جز غم نمی‌بینم

دلی بی غم کجا جویم که در عالم نمی‌بینم

دمی با همدمی خرم ز جانم بر نمی‌آید

دمم با جان برآید چون که یک همدم نمی‌بینم

مرا رازیست اندر دل به خون دیده پرورده

ولیکن با که گویم راز چون محرم نمی‌بینم

قناعت می‌کنم با درد چون درمان نمی‌یابم

تحمل می‌کنم با زخم چون مرهم نمی‌بینم

I do not see any sadness in him until he falls in love

Where can I find a sad heart that I do not see in the world?

I can not breathe with my companion

Breathe with my soul because I do not see a companion

He has raised me in secret with blood in his heart

But I do not see the secret because I say Muharram

I am satisfied with the pain because I can not find a cure

I suffer with wounds because I do not see an ointment
