Зоопарк was a Soviet rock band formed in 1981 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). Its founder and frontman was Майк Науменко , who became one of the key figures in Russian rock. The band existed until 1991, leaving a significant mark on the musical culture of the USSR. Зоопарк is known for its albums such as "Белая полоса" and "Уездный город N" as well as songs that combined rock 'n' roll with witty and socially relevant lyrics.
