Tony Carreira is a Portuguese pop singer, born on December 30, 1963, in Armaduro, Pampilhos da Serra. At the age of 10, he moved with his family to Paris, where he lived for 20 years. Since 1991, Tony Carreira has released several hits and become one of the most famous and best-selling artists in Portugal. He has performed to sold-out venues such as the Atlântico Stadium in Lisbon and Olympia in Paris. Despite a plagiarism scandal in the late 2010s, his contribution to Portuguese pop music remains significant.
