Anggun (full name: Ангун Чипта Сасми ) is an Indonesian pop singer born on April 29, 1974. She began pursuing a musical career at the age of 12 and later moved to France, where she achieved significant success. Her work encompasses pop, foreign rock, and electronica. Anggun performs songs in Indonesian, French, and English. Among her famous hits is "Snow on the Sahara" which became an international success. She also represented France at the Евровидение Contest in 2012. Anggun has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Indonesian music on the global stage.
