Styles of Beyond was a Californian rap group formed in 1994. Its members included Ryan Maggin, Takbir Bashir, Colton Fisher, and Jason Rabinowitz. The group worked in the drum and bass and hip-hop genres and collaborated with Machine Shop Recordings , a label founded by Mike Shinoda, a well-known member Linkin Park . Over the course of their career, the group released several albums and tracks, including collaborations with other artists. Styles of Beyond made a significant contribution to the development of hip-hop, combining traditional elements of the genre with experimental sounds.
