Nelson Riddle (full name Нельсон Риддл Смок Младший ) is an American arranger, composer, and conductor, born on June 1, 1921, in the United States. He rose to prominence through his collaborations with such legends as Фрэнк Синатра , Элла Фицджеральд , Нэт Кинг Коул and Джуди Гарленд . Working for Capitol Records , he created arrangements for numerous iconic songs. His work earned him an Оскар Award and three Грэмми Awards. Riddle had a significant influence on the development of orchestral and jazz music, leaving a lasting mark on musical history.
