
Yehudi Menuhin (1916–1999) was an American-born violinist and conductor. He is considered one of the greatest classical performers of the 20th century. Menuhin began his career at an early age, making his orchestral debut at the age of seven. His repertoire encompassed both world classics and contemporary works. Throughout his life, he collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors and recorded numerous critically acclaimed albums. Menuhin was also an active teacher and founded several music schools.
