Мишель Легран (born February 24, 1932, France) is a French composer, pianist, arranger, conductor, and singer who worked in the genres of jazz, pop, and film music. He is a three-time Academy Award winner, including Best Original Song for "The Windmills of Your Mind" from "Афера Томаса Крауна" . He has also received five "Грэмми" Awards and a "Золотой глобус" Award. Мишель Легран has written over two hundred songs for film and television, and is particularly known in Russia for his score for "Шербурские зонтики" . His work has had a significant influence on the development of film music and jazz.
