
Harold Arlen (born 1905 in the United States) was an American composer known for his contributions to jazz, pop, and the Great American Songbook. Over his career, he wrote more than 500 songs, many of which became timeless classics. His most famous work, "Over the Rainbow", was created for the film "The Wizard of Oz" and remains one of the most iconic songs in American music history.
