Often referred to as the "Father of Modern Jazz Piano," Hines collaborated with legends like Louis Armstrong and led his own big band during the swing era. His notable recordings include "Weather Bird" and "Rosetta". Hines’s contributions to jazz earned him a place in the Jazz Hall of Fame, solidifying his legacy as a transformative figure in the genre.
