Epik High is a South Korean alternative hip-hop group from Seoul, formed in 2001. The group consists of three members: Табло , Митра Джин , and DJ Tukutz . They debuted in 2003 and have since released eleven studio albums. The group is known for its unique blend of genres and profound lyrics. From 2010 to 2012, Epik High was on hiatus due to the mandatory military service of two members. After their return, they signed with YG Entertainment , and Табло released a solo album. Epik High became the first Korean artist to perform at Coachella and received international recognition. Their contribution to the development of hip-hop in Korea is difficult to overstate.
