Hwasa (real name: Ан Хе Джин ) is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and rapper born in 1995. She is a member of the popular girl group Mamamoo , where she serves as both rapper and vocalist. Hwasa solo career began in February 2019 with the release of her debut digital single "Twit" which received widespread acclaim. Her song "Maria" also achieved immense success, cementing her status as a solo artist. Hwasa has significantly contributed to the popularization of K-pop, combining a unique style with a charismatic performance.
