merten kätköistä.

Nousee aurinko vastaan:

pilven polttaa reunastaan,

polttaa aurinko.

Nälkä on pohjaton.

Aava niin armoton

miehiä heikkoja nyt syö.

Myrskyn jälkeen

korppikotkat

keulaan siirtyy.

Oudot patsaat

silloin taivaan

reunaan piirtyy.
