Kaksi höyhentä jää

aallokkoon pyörimään

aivan kuin ne ohjaisivat näin,

suuntaamaan katseen ylöspäin

Linnut latvassa puun,

käyvät neuvottelun

yhteistuumin löytyy määränpää

Haukka puskee parven keulaan,

siitä kiilaa peipon reunaan

Kiljuhanhi paarman noukkii,

parvi sinne tänne koukkii

Kuusi pientä naarashyyppää,

moittii kilvan täplikkyyttään

Mieli lailla tuulen muuttuu,

reittikartta saareen muuttuu

Parvi paikoillansa latkaa,

lokki jatkaa yksin matkaa
