All denen, die, egal in welchem Haus,

uns mit mächtigem Applaus

einen Traumempfang bereiten,

all den’n, die uns so oft mit Ovationen

und Begeisterung belohnen

und uns auf dem Weg begleiten,

all denen, die uns fair und konstruktiv

kritisierten, wenn’s nicht lief

und sich mit uns auseinandersetzen,

und jedem, der uns jemals unterstützte,

ganz egal, ob ihm das nützte,

allen, die uns einfach schätzen,

und dann — nicht zu vergessen — einfach allen,

die uns ausverkaufte Hallen

und den Spaß am Sing’n bescheren,

all diesen Leuten sagen wir nur: «Danke sehr!

Ohne euch gäb's uns vielleicht nicht mehr.»

Doch all denen, die uns so extrem belogen,

dass die Balken sich so bogen,

dass die Enden sich berührten,

und denen, die uns allerhand versprachen,

die Versprechen sofort brachen

und uns in die Irre führten,

all denen, die es heute, morgen, gestern

lieben, über uns zu lästern

und uns Wege zu verbauen,

all denen, die uns ungefragt kopieren

und es permanent probieren,

uns Ideen wegzuklauen,

all denen, die uns nie im Radio spielen,

die uns schneiden, und die vielen,

die noch nie über uns schrieben,

all diesen Leuten sagen wir nur: «Ha, ha, ha —

wir sind immer noch da!»

All those who, no matter in which house,

prepare a dream reception

all those who so often give us ovations

to all those who support us fairly and constructively
