Morgens im Regen ist die Straßenbahn

Direkt vor meiner Nase weggefahr’n

Das hat mir erst mal nicht viel ausgemacht

Bis ich seh: Hey!

Der Fahrer hat mich ausgelacht!

Dann übersehe ich im Mörderregen

Eine Laterne und renn voll dagegen

Doch Zeit zum Ärgern bleibt mir leider nicht

Denn meine neue Jacke ist nicht Wasserdicht

Dann wollte ich noch schnell Geld abheben

Ich in die Bank rein für 'ne neue Karte

Und während ich so in der Schlange warte

Spricht mich der Ex-Freund meiner Freundin an

Den ich so überhaupt nicht leiden kann

Und sagt: «Ey Alter, zieh dir das mal rein:

Ich ziehe bald in eure Nachbarwohnung ein!»

Doch weil der Tag noch nicht gelaufen ist

Stoppt mich am Abend dann ein Polizist

Und sagt: «Hey, das war nun wirklich dunkelrot!»

Ich sage zu mir selbst: «Ich Idiot!»

Was wiederum den Polizisten stört —

Er hat das Wörtchen «ich» wohl überhört

Weshalb ich gleich noch eine Anzeige kassier

So viel an einem Tag gelingt nur mir!

Doch weil ich ja nicht mehr rauch

Steh ich völlig auf’m Schlauch

And entered the wrong PIN three times

I went to the bank for a new card

I'll be moving into your neighbor's apartment soon!»

But because the day is not over yet

Then a police officer stops me in the evening

And says: "Hey, that was really dark red!"

I say to myself: «I idiot!»

Which in turn bothers the policeman —

He probably missed the word "I".

Which is why I'm about to file another ad

Only I can do so much in one day!
