Ich mag die Leute an der Küste

und muss immer wieder raus,

ohne Nord- und Ostsee

halte ich’s nicht lange aus.

Ich brauch den Wind, das Wasser,

den Blick hinaus auf’s Meer,

den Frieden, den ich dabei find,

und doch: Für dieses Glück

gäb' ich mein Hamburg niemals her.
