Gerechtigkeit muß sein.

Ob es nochmal mit sich reden lässt,

weiß der Himmel ganz allein.

Und das Licht im Tannenbaum,

für den Duft, der durch die Stube zieht

und den alten Kindertraum.

Mal sehn, wer diesmal sich beim Feiern

In die Haare kriegt,

wo diesmal eine Träne fließt,

weil wieder unterm Tannenbaum

das falsche Päckchen liegt.
