Dunque: quel giorno la catturai al volo

Discendente dall’alto come un soffio ultraterreno

E mi circonfuse di luce in un baleno

Come un santo, Dio santo!

Ma dalla testa al suolo

E mi sembrava di sublimare

O almeno di uscirmene fuori dal normale

Era davvero come dileguare:

Collegai la spina e tutto divent speciale

Ero dentro la mia realt

Con un senso eccitato di morbida libert

Ero dentro la mia realt

E la vita nei pressi era solamente un’entit

Dunque quel giorno mi detti da fare:

Sentivo che dovevo meritare quel dono

Scrissi e riscrissi mirando all’unisono

Che mi intonasse con il tremito sonoro

Che mi faceva come sublimare

O almeno uscire fuori dal normale;

Che era davvero come un tintinnare

Di scosse gradite e dal ritmo un po' speciale

Ero dentro la mia realt

Con un senso eccitato di morbida libert

Ero dentro la mia realt

E la vita nei pressi era solamente un’entit

Ma il giorno seguente non mi piaceva niente

Tranne una frase giocosa ed eloquente

Diceva:

So: that day I caught it on the fly

Descending from above like an otherworldly breath

And it filled me with light in a flash

Like a saint, holy God!

But from head to ground

And I seemed to sublimate

Or at least to get out of the ordinary

It was really like disappearing:

I plugged in and everything became special

I was inside my reality

With an excited sense of soft freedom

I was inside my reality

And the life nearby was only an entity

So that day I got busy:

I felt I had to deserve that gift

I wrote and rewrote aiming in unison

That he tuned me with the sonorous tremor

Which made me sublimate

Or at least get out of the ordinary;

That was really like a jingle

Of welcome shocks and a somewhat special rhythm

I was inside my reality

With an excited sense of soft freedom

I was inside my reality

And the life nearby was only an entity

But the next day I didn't like anything
